According to the C.A. Transmute Theory, "Disc" can be used to change a core's attribute that already has been stabilized, and the type of the Disc will determine the new attribute of the core. However, Nevarethian's Core Technology has not been fully developed, and thus people can only change their cores' attribute to something similar to what they desire, not as perfect. After much research, scholars identified this "Disc" which possesses a peculiar power, acts as a catalyst of Force as a legacy of the Honorable Age, but none have not been able to figure out exactly and when the Discs were being developed.
